There is too much going on right now to really sit down to reflect and write careful blog posts, so here are just some random updates as I prep for Monday:
- The Camino Campaign jumped up to $1,056 as of this morning! Thank you so much to everyone who “pledged” to walk with me. Please feel free to share the link with your friends and family to spread the word about Steps to Support SCLS.
- I haven’t removed my wedding ring in years. I feel slightly naked. It’s getting real!
- I’m in love with compression bags. The blue bag holds my blanket, travel pillow, and sleep sack. The orange bag contains ALL of my clothes and extra jacket. ALL of them! For two months! For perspective, the little coin purse is the size of a credit card. I’ve learned this is one of the most important lessons of the Camino: “how much do I really, truly need?”
